How to Make a Radiance Boosting Face Mask
This wonderful homemade face mask recipe is packed with antioxidants and the papaya’s enzymes help to buff away old, dry skin cells for a glowing and radiant complexion. Face masks are one of my favorite skin care products. They’re easy to apply, fun to use and are great at delivering results.
My favorite thing about applying a good face mask is the feeling of tightened and toned skin after a single use. Masks can help stimulate blood circulation. The process of the mask drying on your skin and beginning to harden, along with the removal of the mask, causes an expansion in the blood vessels in your skin. This ensures an overall improvement in skin tone. You’ll be left with softer-feeling and smoother-looking skin, and you’ll also notice a radiant glow and more refreshed appearance. So, relax, feel the tingle, breathe in the aroma and wait for your skin transformation.
You’ll need:
- 1/2 a ripe papaya—peeled, seeded, and sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon or lime juice
Puree the papaya in a blender until just mashed, and then blend in the other ingredients by hand.
Spread the mixture over your face, making sure to avoid your eyes, and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Wipe or rinse your face clean, and voilà beautiful glowing skin!
